Any guesses as to the author? Not Michael Moore. Not even Howard Dean. No, it's from The West Wing. Even in the post-Aaron Sorkin era, they can come up with rhetoric that heroic but the best the DNC can run against that Texas hick is, "We need to fight a smarter, better war."
those west wing folk gave a pretty good interview yesterday on Air America, the lefty radio station, which also has a well articulated liberal point of view (so welcome in the middle of the country)

ReplyDeleteWe can imagine liberals are few and far between in Texas. Even in the DC-area, the conservatives are so belligerent and loud that half the time you wouldn't there is anyone else to talk to.
